Tarot

I seem to gravitate to fusion restaurants. How about you?  It’s a combination of the best flavors and textures from traditional foods with a contemporary palate.  Tarot and the

Enneagram both have ancient traditions utilizing numerology.  They each satisfy a need to reflect on where one is going and how one got here. Tarot Enneagram is a fusion of modern Tarot and the Enneagram.

Tarot Enneagram is best used when preparing for transitional occasions; this could be a graduation, starting a new course, a marriage, or needing to step back and see the broad view of your own life. The laying of the cards creates a scene from birth up to the character you have developed in the story or your unique life.

I attribute my interest in Tarot to my Northern Italian heritage. The first Tarot cards documented were in Milan in the 13th century. Even though it was not something encouraged in my childhood, I found myself using Tarot cards in high school and have continued using them ever since.  When I think of my interest in using metaphors it must have started with the insights and musing from using Tarot. I was contemplating the card’s pictographs and the numbers associated with them.

To be clear, Tarot is NOT fortune telling! This is the question I get asked most. It is a method to step back and look, feel, listen to yourself, and contemplate anything you are engaged in.

As we know, history repeats itself, and human nature does too. The Tarot pictures are illustrations of these events.  It means taking time to step back and see what you have overlooked and then acknowledge what you do have.

Some people are not comfortable with some of the cards, like the death card for example. Again, Tarot is not fortune telling and getting the death card does not indicate a short life.

For example, if we describe a divorce in modern day terms, we often refer to it as the “death” of the relationship. It indicates the finality of something, or the need to walk away from something or someone. We need to remember not to be literal in interpreting the cards.

Card reading can be done as an event at a party or as a private consultation.
